I have worked as a colour printer and photographer for over 25 years.

In 1977 l began art college with just 1 day a week learning photography.

This is when l left Rotherham in search of a career in a big city.

The opportunities available to me came from Leeds where l started out as a machine colour printer in 1980 and eventually a hand printer. Whilst enhancing my skills as a printer l began advertising and learning more about what l really wanted to do, Photography. Upon leaving the printers in 1983 to become a self employed wedding and portrait photographer l married 5 years later and had 2 children.         In 1993 l attained LBIPP.

I continued to print and take photographs full time and later left the UK in 1996 to live and work in New Zealand as a wedding and portrait photographer. Awards from Fuji began in 1993,94, 95 and 1996 in the UK followed by a Kodak Silver in New Zealand in 1997. Then in 1998-2000 l recieved further Awards for Kodak Gold and Silver.
